Principal Growth / Client Partner
Principal Growth / Client Partner / Senior Account Manager
£80k – £100k+ base | 100–150% OTE | London (Hybrid)
Overview
My client is a fast-growing data and AI consultancy looking to hire a Principal - Growth into its London team.
This is a senior commercial role for someone who can win new business, grow existing enterprise accounts and operate confidently in a more strategic, solutions-led environment. The base salary can go up to £100,000, with commission, equity and a strong overall package on top.
The role would suit someone who is already operating at Principal, Account Director, Senior Account Manager or Growth lead level, and who enjoys working with clients on bigger, longer-term commercial opportunities rather than purely transactional sales.
The business
My client helps large organisations solve important business problems through data, AI and technology.
They are not a traditional recruitment business, and this is not a standard account management role. The business works with clients in a broader and more strategic way, combining consultancy, delivery, workforce solutions and capability building to help them achieve long-term outcomes.
In practice, that means supporting clients with everything from accessing the right skills and expertise, to building internal capability, to delivering complex programmes in a more structured and commercially meaningful way.
They work with enterprise clients on high-value, business-critical initiatives, and their relationships tend to be long-term, strategic and outcome-focused.
The business is growing well, but in a deliberate way. The leadership team is experienced, the foundations are strong, and there is a clear focus on building something with real long-term value.
The role
As Principal - Growth, your job will be to drive growth across both new and existing enterprise accounts.
That means building deeper relationships with key clients, spotting new opportunities within existing partnerships, and opening up new logos where there is a clear fit. You will be expected to operate at a senior level, working across multiple stakeholders internally and externally to grow revenue and strengthen client relationships.
This is a broad commercial role, and it will suit someone who enjoys ownership, strategic conversations and helping clients solve more meaningful business challenges.
There is also scope for this person to help shape the wider growth function and potentially build or lead a small team as the business continues to scale.
What the role will involve

Identifying, pursuing and winning new business opportunities
Opening new logos and expanding strategic accounts
Acting as a senior commercial point of contact across key relationships
Working closely with delivery teams to ensure successful consultant deployment and account growth

Helping grow the business across its target enterprise markets
Contributing directly to gross profit and wider commercial performance

A strong track record in a senior sales or growth role
Experience winning new business as well as growing existing accounts
A background in technology, consultancy, workforce solutions or professional services
Strong commercial instincts and a clear focus on revenue generation
Someone comfortable in a high-growth or scale-up environment
Credibility with senior stakeholders in enterprise businesses
A solutions-led approach, rather than a purely transactional one

Why this role is worth considering
This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to step into a broader, more strategic growth role within a business that already has a credible platform and clear momentum.
For the right person, it offers a mix of senior-level commercial ownership, strong earning potential and the chance to help shape growth in a consultancy-led business operating in one of the most relevant parts of the market.
